Established in 1928, Enefco is a diverse, contract manufacturer equipped to provide a wide variety of custom products. Our capabilities include:

• Precision contract cutting, including waterjet
• The production, cutting and packaging of cosmetic and medical foam items
• Molding
• Slitting
• Pouching
• Laminating

All operations, including offices, are housed in a modern, single story 78,000 square foot building located at 1130 Minot Ave in Auburn Maine.

Enefco performs a wide variety of die cutting and assembly work. We have a full range of state of the art cutting equipment, including high speed Waterjet, Preco and CNC roll stock machines. Products produced include lamp bottoms, chair glides, stamp pad inserts, packaging materials and miscellaneous EVA foam products. Our waterjet system enables us to produce high quality prototypes in a fraction of the time required by other methods.

Enefco manufactures its own extremely fine grade polyurethane (non-latex) foam. The finished raw material is about 16” wide and is produced in rolls of approximately 100’ – 200’ in. length. It can be produced in thicknesses ranging from 3/16 to 1 ¼ inches.

The foam is available in sheet or roll stock or can be cut into cosmetic, medical or other products by our various cutting machines. We can then package the items in private label poly bags, blister packages (using Enefco’s packaging machinery) or ship them bulk unpackaged in master cases to you.

Enefco also purchases materials from other manufacturers. Because of our wide variety of cutting and packaging equipment we are able to contract manufacture for other customers under their private label.

Our die shop manufactures various types of dies & impression markers. The clicker department offers dies made with pre-sharpened steel or with forged steel. The pre sharp steel has a sharpened finish, while the forged dies are bent to shape, hardened, and then sharpened manually.

The marker department makes impression markers & location markers to stamp alignment marks on material to be used in the assembly of shoes or other products.

The machine die department uses computer-generated patterns in the assembly of dies. The machine dies are used in many different industries. The computer-generated machine dies are accurate and can be duplicated & repaired quickly.

The CNC milling machine is used to mill & drill die parts and various machine parts to be assembled into dies. The machine is computer programmed to ensure accuracy. After programming is complete, the CNC machine then proceeds to mill & drill the tool steel for customized fitted parts. These parts are used in both the clicker and machine die departments.
